The ENMANE KS16 is a shielded Cat.6 RJ45 female-to-female coupler featuring a lightning-protection design for network cable extension. It connects two terminated patch cords directly and is intended for use in shielded cabling installations where improved protection against induced electrical interference is required.
Metal-shielded RJ45 ports provide a conductive connection path between compatible shielded plugs. When the network shielding is correctly bonded and grounded, this construction helps direct induced electrical energy through the intended grounding path.
The fire-retardant ABS outer housing provides impact resistance and electrical insulation. Black and white versions are available for different equipment, installation and identification requirements.
